Effective August 1, 2023, there are three ways to create your MOV Pass account:

How much are MOV Pass transponders?

MOV Pass transponders are free. 

CAN I USE MY E-ZPASS WITH THE TOLLING SYSTEM? DO I HAVE TO REGISTER MY E-ZPASS WITH PARKERSBURG BRIDGE PARTNERS?

You can use your current E-ZPass transponder on Memorial Bridge and it does not have to be registered with Parkersburg Bridge Partners if purchased through another tolling authority. However, the account must be valid and have a prepaid balance to pay for tolls on Memorial Bridge. The bridge accepts E-ZPass but is not part of the WV Turnpike Single Fee program.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FUNDS IN MY ACCOUNT IF I MOVE OUT OF THE AREA?

If the account has been inactive for a period of time (TBD), then the account will be automatically closed, and a refund of the current balance will be issued to the account holder. NOTE: Ticket credits are not eligible for a refund. Customers will only be refunded for any amounts less tolls and fees owed.

WILL THE MOV PASS BE ABLE TO BE USED NATIONALLY WITH OTHER TOLL FACILITIES?

Our transponder will be compatible with the E-ZPass network, however the timing may vary by each toll facility. Details will be available prior to the start of tolling. Check back at www.parkersburgbridgepartners.com for updates.

CAN WE USE THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION WITH AN E-ZPASS?

The monthly subscription program is only available with a funded MOV Pass account from Parkersburg Bridge Partners. 

CAN MULTIPLE VEHICLES BE LINKED TO ONE ACCOUNT? WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VEHICLES TO BE ADDED TO A SINGLE ACCOUNT?

Yes, multiple cars may be on one account. At this time, there is no limit to the number of vehicles that may be added to an account. However, be advised that the minimum replenishment amount will be per transponder.

WHAT IS A TRANSPONDER AND HOW WILL ELECTRONIC TOLLING WORK?

A transponder is a type of electronic toll collection device. It emits a signal that is detected by the toll system. A transponder like MOV Pass is a small sticker that drivers install on their windshield. Equipment on the bridge will read the signal, determine the correct toll and deduct the amount from your prepaid account balance for the crossing. 

HOW CAN I FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE PROJECT?

Updates are posted on Facebook, LinkedIn, the website, and emailed in the newsletter. The local media are alerted regarding traffic updates and important information.

HOW MUCH MONEY IS NEEDED TO CREATE AND RELOAD THE MOV PASS ACCOUNT?

The initial funding charge will be $25; the low balance/replenishment threshold will be $10; and the replenishment minimum will be $25, however you can select higher amount based on your travel habits.

 NOTE: Customers who plan to enroll in the $30 monthly pass should consider an initial funding of $30 with a replenishment of $30

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CROSS THE BRIDGE WITH A TRANSPONDER, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT? ARE YOU BILLED AT THE PAY BY PLATE RATE?

Yes, any crossing made without a properly funded account would be billed at the Pay by Plate rate.

IS THE $30 MONTHLY UNLIMITED SUBSCRIPTION PER FAMILY OR PER VEHICLE?

The $30 monthly unlimited subscription is per vehicle.  Customers are required to have a valid MOVPASS account and properly installed MOVPASS transponder to qualify for the unlimited rate.
